  Employment is the state of being employed or having a job. 

WHY PEOPLE SHOULD BE EMPLOYED

The following are some reasons why people should be employed.

  1. To earn money.
  2. To be respected in the society.
  3. To be able to send their children to school.
  4. To be able to get more education
  5. To avoid depending on people
  6. To provide for the family
  7. To build a house
  8. To buy properties
  9. To carry out life’s responsibilities

AVAILABLE JOBS IN OUR LOCALITY    

  1. Farming
  2. Carpentry
  3. Tailoring
  4. Cattle rearing
  5. Fishing
  6. Hair dressing
  7. trading

HOW PEOPLE GET JOBS

  1. Through application.
  2. Through friends.
  3. Through family members.
  4. Through Skills.

  PROBLEMS OF UNEMPLOYMENT

  1. Few jobs are available
  2. Lack of information
  3. Corruption
  4. Few industries
  5. Increase in Population
  6. Tribalism

SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS OF JOBS

  1. Government should provide more industries.
  2. People should be self-employed.
  3. Job seekers should be contented with small jobs.
  4. Schools should provide more technical skills to equip the people for available job.
  5. People should learn skills that are needed for jobs.

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURE
