WEEK 3: THE FAMILY

  • Structure of a  Nuclear family

Pupils should be able to:

  • Identify types of family.
  • Explain Nuclear family.

WEEK 4:  EXTENDED FAMILY

Pupils should be able to state:

  • Explain types of family.
  • Mention the members of an extended family.

WEEK 5: Qualities of a Good Family

  • Honesty
  • Contentment
  • Discipline
  • Obedience

  • State the meaning of Honesty, contentment, discipline and obedience.

WEEK 6: CULTURE

  • Meaning of culture
  • Types of culture

  • Define and explain the meaning of culture.
  • List three types of culture.

  • Picture Of people wearing traditional dress.

WEEK 7: CULTURE

  • Elements of culture

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Mention the element of culture.

  • Pictures of traditional dresses, foods etc.

WEEK 8: VALUE THAT SHOW GOOD MORALS IN OUR SOCIETY

  • Meaning of Morals.

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Define morals
  • Explain with examples, the values which show morals.

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Cartoons and posters.

WEEK 9: VALUE THAT SHOW GOOD MORALS IN OUR SOCIETY

  • Examples of morals that shows what is right e.g.
  • Respect
  • Loyalty
  • Kindness
  • Honesty etc.

   LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • List the attributes of good morals and demonstrate them in school, home and society.

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Posters/charts

WEEK 10: VALUE THAT SHOW BAD MORALS IN OUR SOCIETY

  • Examples of morals that shows what is wrong e.g.
  • Stealing
  • fighting
  • bulling
  • Lying, etc.

   LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • List at least six bad morals in the society.
  • State the consequences of bad morals and how to curb it.

WEEK 11:   REVISION

WEEK 12:   REVISION

WEEK 13:   EXAMINATION
