MODULE CONTENT
HOW TO MAKE SIMPLE APRON
- turn in 15mm double hems along curved(underarms) and straight sides
- pins, tack and press hem
- hand stitch the herms, using hemming stitch
- turn, pin and take 2cm at the top and bottom of apron, then hem
HOW TO PREPARE THE NECK BAND AND BELTS OF APRON
- Fold each length wise and right side facing and edges even
- Tack and stitch along seam lines, leaving one short edge open.
- Used back stitch to
- Turn each piece to the right and press flat.
HOW TO PREPARE POCKET FOR APRON
- Turn a 10mm single hem along the top of the pocket
- Turn under 10mm around the rest of the pocket, clipping as necessary
- Tack neckband, belt and pocket in the proper positions
- Stitch each firmly
- Remove tacking thread and press apron
