Personal hygiene deals with the total cleanliness of a child.

Physical Development deals with the growth of a child.

CHARACTERISTICS OF PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT A PRE-ADOLESCENT STAGE

  1. Girls initially grows taller than the boys
  2. Growth of hair in private areas
  3. Development of hair in the public areas
  4. The Body grows bigger
  5. The breast of the female child begins to grow
  6.  The male child experience change in voice

FACTORS THAT CAN HINDER PHYSICAL GROWTH IN CHILDREN

  1. Poor feeding
  2. Lack of care
  3. Infection and illness(Hiv)
  4. Too much laboring
  5. Hereditary

PRESENTATION
