                              CONTENT OF THE LESSON

A leader is a person who rules, guides or inspires others

A bad leader is someone that fails to do the right thing and do not listen to the need of the people.

The following problems are created by bad leadership

1. Riot and protest leading to Destruction of life and properties
2. Poor health
3. Dissatisfaction among followers
4. Ineffective and inefficient labour force
5. Mismanagement of scare resources
6. Insecurity  and breakdown of law and order

HOW TO CHECK THE EXCESSES OF BAD LEADERS

We can check bad leader’s excesses by:

1. Sending senior delegates to warn the leader to stop his/her  behaviour
2. Reduction of leader’s powers and authorities through constitution or legislation
3. Peaceful protest
4. Publishing their bad behaviours to the public using mass media like newspaper, television, radio, and internet.
5. Removal of such leader through impeachment.

PRESENTATION

• The Teacher revises the previous term lessons (How to help government to provide services).
• Teacher leads the pupils to understand the topic: PROBLEMS CREATED BY BAD LEADERSHIP.
• She/he explain who is a bad leaders.
• .Teacher leads pupils to mention how to check the excesses of bad behaviour.
