WEEK 4:  SECURITY PRECAUTION AT HOME

Pupils should be able to state:

  • Security precautions to be taken at home e.g. locking the doors, keeping dangerous objects away from children e.g. knife, matches, drugs.

WEEK 5:  SECURITY PRECAUTION IN THE OFFICE

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Mention precautionary measures that should be taken in the office e.g. switching off all electrical appliances, locking all doors and gate.

WEEK 6:  PERSONAL SECURITY PRECAUTIONS

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • State personal security measures e.g. not following strangers, not begging for food.

WEEK 7:  SECURITY PRECAUTION IN SCHOOL

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Mention security precautions to be taken in school e.g. not walking alone, not playing with harmful objects etc.

TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCES/AIDS:

  • Chart showing a list of precaution to be taken in school

WEEK 8:  SECURITY MEASURES TO BE TAKEN IN CAR/BUSES

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • State security measures to be taken in car/buses e.g. using of seatbelt, a child not sitting in front seat by the driver.

WEEK 9: GENERAL SECURITY TIPS

   LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • State general security tips to be taken by children.

WEEK 10: SECURITY PRECAUTION IN THE ENVIRONMENT

   LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • State the security precaution to be taken in time of flood, fire outbreak, and road accidents etc.
