WEEK 6: TYPES OF PRAYER

Pupils should be able to:
- state the types of prayers
- prayer of thanks giving (Acts 4: 23)
- confession of sins (Luke 18: 19 -23)
- petition (1 Samuel 1: 124 -19)
- intercessory prayer (Gen 18: 2 – 23)

WEEK 7: THINGS TO PRAY FOR (1 Kings 3: 1 -15; James (2:7))

- wisdom and understanding (1 kings 3: 1 -15; James 2 -7)
- Forgiveness of sins etc.

WEEK 8: THE POWER OF PRAYER (1) Acts 12: 1 – 17, 16; 25 – 33)

Pupils should be able to:
- Narrate the story of how peter was release from prison.
- Narrate the story of Paul and Silas in
prison

WEEK 9: THE POWER OF PRAYER
- Answer to Hannah ‘s prayer for a son (I Samuel 1: 9 – 20)
- Raising of Lazarus from death (john 11: 41 – 44)
LESSON OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
- Narrate the stories of answered prayers of Hannah for a son and the prayer that raised Lazarus from dead
