TOPIC: Common IT devices.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to:

1. say the meaning of IT devices.

2. identify and name common IT devices.

CONTENT:

1. Meaning of IT devices.

2. Common IT devices, GSM Phone, calculator, Digitals wristwatch etc.

TEACHER ACTIVITIES:

1. Leads pupils to know the meaning of IT devices.

2. Leads them to know and identify common IT devices.

PUPILS ACTIVITIES: Identify and name common IT devices.

TEACHING AND LEARNING MATERIALS:

1 Toy GSM Phones,

2. Smart phones

3. Toy calculator.

EVALUATION GUIDE: Pupils to:

1. say the meaning of IT devices.

2. lists three IT devices.

WEEK 2

TOPIC: Common/devices (G.S.M phones)

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to:

1. identify GSM phone.

2. give the full meaning of GSM.

3. name types of GSM phone.

4. state the uses of GSM phone.

CONTENT:

1. Meaning of GSM

2. Types of GSM phones.

3. Uses of GSM phones.

– Call making.

– Receiving calls.

– Sending and receiving messages etc.

TEACHER ACTIVITIES:

1. Guides pupils to identify GSM phones and the full meaning of GSM.

2. Leads them to know the types and uses of GSM Phones.

PUPILS ACTIVITIES:

1. Identify GSM phone.

2. Say the full meaning of GSM.

3. Name the types and uses of GSM phone.

TEACHING AND LEARNING MATERIALS:
