WEEK 1
TOPIC: Air
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to:
1.define wind as air in motion.
2.describe the effects of wind on the body.
CONTENT:
1.Defining wind as air in motion.
2.Effects of a moving air on the body.
TEACHER ACTIVITIES:
1.Defines wind as air in motion.
2.Guides pupils to mention the effect of wind one the body.
3.Guides pupils to demonstrate that air does work.
PUPILS ACTIVITIES:
1.Engage pupils in class discussion on the meaning of wind.
2.Identify the effect of wind on leaves, pieces of papers, dust particles, faces of people etc.
TEACHING AND LEARNING RESOURCE:
1. Pieces of paper, water, container, thread, gum, cardboard etc.
EVALUATION GUIDE: Pupils to:
1.discuss wind as air in motion.
2.states the effects of wind on the body.
WEEK 2
TOPIC: Things that Float in the Air
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to: observe and identify things that float in the air.
CONTENT:
1.Floating in the air.
2.Things that float in the air e.g. paper kite, blown balloon etc.
TEACHER ACTIVITIES: Guides pupils to name things that float in the air.
PUPILS ACTIVITIES: Throw things in the air and identify those that float and those that do not.
TEACHING AND LEARNING RESOURCE:
1.Balloon.
2.Old newspapers.
3.Threads
4.Gums
5.Sticks.

EVALUATION GUIDE: Pupils to: name five things that float in air.
WEEK 3
TOPIC: Making of Things that Float in the Air
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to: make things float in the air.
CONTENT: Things that float I n the air e.g. paper kite, blown balloon etc.
TEACHER ACTIVITIES:
1.Guides pupils to make paper kite.
2.Scores the kite that pupils make.
PUPILS ACTIVITIES: Make and fly paper kit.

PUPILS ACTIVITIES: Observe the charts and mention various uses of water.

WEEK 6
TOPIC: Qualities of Water
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: Pupils should be able to: say the qualities of a good water.
CONTENT: Qualities of water.

TEACHER ACTIVITIES: Guides pupils to observe water clean and dirty water.
PUPILS ACTIVITIES: Observe the water display.

TOPIC: Objects That Float In Water
