UNITS:
- Cutlass: it is a short wooden handle and flat blade
- Axe: it has a short heavy metal head with sharp edge and a long wooden or metal handle.
- Garden Fork: it has a four-pronged metal forks with a short wooden handle.
- Seed Trays: it has a shallow rectangular containers made of wood or metal
WEEK 5: MAJOR USES OF FARM TOOLS
UNITS:
- Cutlass: it is use for clearing weeds, Cutting unwanted branches, planting grains and tubers.
- Sickle : used when Harvesting grains like rice and sorghums
- Hoe: used for weeding and making heaps, ridges, harvesting tubers.
- Axe: used in felling of trees, cutting logs, uprooting slumps and splitting fire wood
