WEEK 3: THE SENSE OF SIGHT

  • Observation and identification of the sense of sight.
  • Importance of the eye as organ of sight.

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  2. Identify the sense of sight
  3. Mention the importance of the eye as the organ of sight.

WEEK 4: OBSERVATION AND NAMING IDENTIFICATION OF OBJECTS BASED ON SHAPES COLOURS AND SIZES.

  1. Observe  objects based on shapes, colour and sizes
  2. Name objects based  on shapes, colour and sizes

WEEK 5: THE SENSE OF SIGHT

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  1. Observe and identify the organs of hearing (ear)
  2. Draw ear

WEEK 6: THE SENSES III

  1. Various sounds from different
  2. Objects e.g. ball (bell)
  3. Animal e.g.  Lion, cat, dog.
  4. Person
  5. Matching of sounds with different  objects

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  1. Mention different objects in the locality that makes sounds e.g. bell, trumpets, drums etc.
  2. Mention different sounds of human being and animals e.g. lion, cat, dog
  3. To match different objects that make sounds with their objects.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

  • Chart showing different objects, ball, drum etc.
  • Using the pupils e.g. boys and girls talking together,
  • Animals of different kind’s e.g. lion, cat, dog, goat etc.

WEEK 7 AND 8: THE SENSES IV

  1. The sense of touching (skin) and feeling(skin)
  2. Observation and identification of the organ of touch
  3. Importance of the skin
  4. Identification of things that are soft and hard. Smooth and rough round and square sharp and blunt.

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  1. Observe and identify the sense organ of touch e.g. skin.
  2. To identify  the importance of the skin
  3. Identify things or objects that are soft and hard, smooth and rough round and square sharp and blunt.

  • Chart to show organ touch (skin).Thee objects that ate soft, hard, smooth and rough round and square sharp and blunt etc.

WEEK 9: THE SENSES V

  • The sense of taste (tongue)
  • Observation and identification of the sense of taste.
  • Importance of tongue

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  • Identify things that are bitter e.g. better leaf gall. Sweet e.g. honey and sugar salty e.g.  Margarine, sour e.g. grape taste, tasteless e.g. water.

  • Chart showing tongue as a sense of taste.
  • Some things that can be identified with the sense of taste tongue e.g. bitter leaf, sugar, margarine and water.

WEEK 10: COLOUR

  • Identifying objects through colours
  • Uses of colours

  • Identify colour.
  • Identify objects with their colour
  • Mention the uses of colour
