WEEK 5: RULES IN THE COMMUNITY

  • Orderliness
  • Sanitation
  • Respect
  • Honesty/sincerity

Pupils should be able to:

  • List and explain rules in the community

WEEK 6: COMMUNITY LEADERS

E.G

  • Yoruba – Oba
  • Igbo – eze
  • Benin – enoge
  • Alupe – etsu
  • Ebira –ohinoyi, other title holders in the community.

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • List at least five ethnic groups in Nigeria
  • The title of their leaders

  • Pictures and charts showing community leaders.

WEEK 7: ROLES OF COMMUNITY LEADERS

  • Settlement of disputes
  • Ensuring peace
  • Organizing community works
  • Link between government and the community.

  • State the roles of community leaders.

WEEK 11: CONSCIENCE

  • Meaning – Man’s possession of free will to do good or evil.
  • Man’s feelings when he does good.
  • Joy man’s feelings when he does evil –guilt conscience coupled with rest of mind.

    LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Pupils should be able to:

  • Define conscience
  • Explain and state the meaning of joy and guilt.

  • Pictures of people relating sand interacting with each other.

WEEK 12:   REVISION

WEEK 13:   EXAMINATION
