At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  1. Identify common plants in the locality
  2. Name common plants in the locality
  3. Name common plants in the locality that is school compound.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

  • Chart showing common plants take pupils round the school compound.

WEEK 3 AND 4: FEATURES OF PLANTS

  • According to shapes, size, colour, and texture.
  • Grouping plant  to their  common features

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  1. List plants according to shapes, size colour and texture.
  2. To group plant according their common features

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

  • Chart showing common plants according to shapes, size colour and texture.

WEEK 5 AND 6: COMMON USES OF PLANTS

  • As food
  • For beatification
  • For building furniture and shades
  • As medicine

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  1. Mention common uses of plants
  2. List the food that one  can get or derive from plant e.g. vegetable soup
  3. List or mention some flowers that plant  can  represent
  4. Mention the type of medicine one can get from plant e.g. cent leaf firm used for pile.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

  • Chart showing different things that one can derived from plants e.g. furniture, flowers, and different vegetables. E.g. water leaf.

WEEK 7: COLOUR

  • Identify object through colours
  • List of colour

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  1. Define colour
  2. Identify on]bject with their colour
  3. Mention the uses of colour

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

Chart showing different the different types of objects with different colours, the colour chart. WEEK 10: ANIMALS

  • Behaviour  of animals, it sounds
  • Benefit of these animal

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, Pupils should be able to

  1. Observe and describe  the behaviour of animals e.g. movement , feeding
  2. Mention the benefit of animals.

  • Picture of some animals

WEEK 12:  EXAMINATION
