VALUES THAT PROMOTE PEACE

Peace is the period of time when there is absence of war, mental stress or anxiety, freedom from disputes.

The following are values that promotes peace among us.

  1. Tolerate other people culture
  2. Show people love
  3. Learn to forgive
  4. We must respect their views
  5. We should be slow to anger
  6. We should respect their ways of life
  7. We should be plain to them
  8. We should accommodate them
  9. We should not cheat them with our local language
  10. We must be honest
  11. Self-control

TOLERANCE

Tolerance means accepting other people the way they are.

CHARACTERISTICS OF TOLERANCE

  1. Respect other peoples behaviours and ways of doing things.
  2. Forgive others
  3. Accommodate other people
  4. Be slow to anger.

PRESENTATION

  • The Teacher revises the previous term lessons (VALUING NIGERIAN GOODS).
  • Teacher leads the pupils to understand the topic: VALUES THAT PROMOTE PEACE.
  • She/he explain the types of values.
  • Teacher leads pupils to mention some characteristics of tolerance.
